DELAWARE, Ohio- Two members of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth’s women's track and field team have been named to the ESPN the Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District Team.
Senior hurdler Deanna Bealby (Peterborough, N.H.) was named to the first team, and senior middle distance runner Leanne Nygaard (Medway, Mass.) was named to the second team.

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Jennifer Adams wasn't going to let the conditions stand in her way this time. After being victimized by the sloppy, muddy conditions at last year's NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships in West Chester, Ohio, the senior from Saratoga Springs, N..Y., overcame the cold weather and a brief mental lapse to earn All-America honors with her ninth place finish at Saturday's championship held at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn.

PROVIDENCE, R.I.—Keene State College senior Jennifer Adams (Saratoga, Springs, N.Y.) was named the Little East Conference Female Runner of the Year this afternoon after a vote by the conference head coaches. This is the first time the Little East Conference coaches’ have awarded a runner of the year. University of Southern Maine senior Curtis Wheeler was named the inaugural Little East Conference Male Runner of the Year.
