ECAC Track: Miller wins the 800-meter race

KEENE, N.H. - Keene State College's Sarah Miller raced to a first place finish in the 800-meter race at the ECAC Division III Track and Field Championships held this weekend at Wesleyan University.

Miller, a senior from Walpole, N.H., posted a winning time of 2:15.54. She's expected to compete in the same event at next weekend's NCAA Division III Championships. The Championships take plate at Rose Hulman College in Terra Haute, Ind.

Stephanie Westcott, a senior from Bellows Falls, Vt., placed second in the 5,000-meter race with a time of 17:59.05.

The Owls' DMR team also finished fourth 12:16.68. KSC finished with 23 points to place 12th in the 25 team field. St. Lawrence University won the team title with 48 points.

Sophomore Patrick Davis (Wethersfield, Conn.) had the top finish for the Keene State men, an 11th place performance in the 3,000 (8:56.29).
