Player of the Week:
Megan Cote (Fall River, Mass.), Sophomore, Salem State College

Cote captured the top-flight singles draw at the 2007 Little East Conference Tournament this past weekend. She defeated her opposition from Southern Maine convincingly in the quarterfinal round, 8-0. Cote continued to breeze through the draw, sweeping her opponent from Western Connecticut in straight sets to advance to the championship match. For the second straight match, she posted a straight-set victory to claim the individual title.
