On a night when driving rain left several inches of standing water on the turf, the Owls and Western Conn. State University battled to a 1-1 double-overtime draw enabling the visitors to clinch the top seed in the upcoming Little East women's soccer championship for the first time since 2004. |

October 15, 2009 KEENE , N.H. - Keene State battled No. 22 Middlebury College to a 1-1 tie in non-conference women's soccer action at Owl Athletic Complex on Wednesday night. Keene State is now 10-3-1 while Middlebury goes to 7-1-1. Taking a lead pass from junior Drew Smith (Silver Springs, Md.), junior Annie Rowell (Craftsbury, Vt.) gave the Panthers a 1-0 lead a the 11:55 mark when she took a couple of dribbles and beat KSC sophomore goalie Megan Dempsey (East Weymouth, Mass.) with a shot to the far corner. |

October 10, 2009 BOSTON - Sophomore forward Kristin Mulry (Holbrook, MA) netted the day's only goal with just 6:30 remaining in the match, to lead the University of Massachusetts Boston women's soccer team over visiting Western Connecticut State University, 1-0, today in a Little East Conference match at the Clark Athletic Center Field on the campus of UMass Boston. The win is the first in program history against WCSU and snaps a 12-match losing streak against the Colonials. |
