June 26, 2008 Former Brown University Assistant Coach and Salve Regina Head Coach Amanda Van Voorhis is the new head womens basketball coach at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Van Voorhis will succeed Mick Klitzner, effective July 1st. She was hired after a national search that was conducted when the position was made full-time, and is the first full-time head womens basketball coach at UMass Dartmouth since Judy Sullivan completed a 16-year stint at the end of the 1992-93 season. |

April 18, 2008 PROVIDENCE, RIRhode Island College has named Marcus Reilly as its new Head Womens Basketball Coach. Reilly takes over for Spencer Manning, who guided the Anchorwomen over the previous five seasons. |

March 19, 2008 GORHAM, Maine Junior forward Stacey Kent (Northwood, N.H./Coe-Brown Academy) of the University of Southern Maine Huskies womens basketball team has been named to the D3hoops.com Womens All-Northeast Second Team. The announcement was made Wednesday evening by D3hoops.com after a vote by the regions Division III sports information directors. |
