MOST OUTSTANDING PLAYER

Ashley McFetridge (Canton, Conn.), Junior, Center, Eastern Connecticut State

McFetridge led Eastern Connecticut State University to its third Little East Conference Women's Basketball Championship Tournament title this past weekend, averaging 18 points and 8.3 rebounds per game in three tournament games. The Warriors also earned the conference's automatic qualifier into the NCAA Tournament, marking Eastern Connecticut's 11th berth since 1983. McFetridge reached double digits in scoring in all three games, including a week-high 21 in the quarterfinal round against UMass Boston. She netted 14 points and pulled in eight rebounds in the championship game against top-seeded Southern Maine.
