winning streak - the third longest streak in NCAA Division III
history. The win also stopped a two-game slide for the
Warriors who improve to 17-4 overall and 7-3 in the Little East.

Bowdoin College, 59-52, on December 2, 2003.

her only basket of the game on a pull-up jumper at the top of the
key to force the overtime action. In the overtime period both teams
combined for just five points. Southern Maine missed two of its
three shots in the five-minute extra stanza and made four
turnovers.
Eastern Connecticut's Morey made was proved to be the game-winning
basket with a jump shot two minutes into overtime, to give the
Warriors a 65-64 lead with 3:02 to play. Danieli had given
Southern Maine a 64-63 lead with a lay-up following a steal from
Kynoch. The Huskies were unable to score over their next four
possessions. Eastern Connecticut also struggled offensively
in the final three minutes of overtime, missing all four of its
shots, but secured three offensive rebounds to maintain possession
and help run time off of the clock.
Southern Maine had a chance to win the game earning a final
possession with four second remaining after Morey missed a pair of
free throws, but was unable to get off a clean shot as the ball was
tangled up in traffic.

when it hosts UMass Boston at 5:30 p.m. Eastern Connecticut
hosts Western Connecticut on the same date and time in a LEC match
up.
