Most Outstanding Player:

Priscilla Dougherty (Island Park, N.Y.), Senior, Setter, Eastern Connecticut

Dougherty led Eastern Connecticut to its third straight Little East Conference Tournament Championship this past weekend, registering three upset victories to claim the title. The Island Park, N.Y. native guided the Warriors offensive attack, handing out 117 assists in three matches. She was credited with at least 40 helpers in two matches, including a week-high 44 against fourth-seeded Rhode Island College. Eastern Connecticut is the first squad to capture the championship as the fifth seed in the tournament's history.
