November 10, 2009 WILLIMANTIC, Conn. - Eastern Connecticut is competing in postseason tournament play for the third time in as many years under third-year head coach Greg DeVito. It is the Warriors' second NCAA showing in the last three years, and 15th tournament appearance in program history. In DeVito's first year in 2007, Eastern won its first conference playoff title and was eliminated in its first-ever NCAA tournament game, 2-0, by Williams. |

November 9, 2009 PLYMOUTH, N.H. The Plymouth State University mens soccer team returns to the postseason for the first time in three years this week when the Panthers host Daniel Webster College Wednesday in an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) New England Tournament first-round game. The third-seeded Panthers (9-8-0) will meet the sixth-seeded Eagles (12-5) at 4 p.m. at Panther Field. Plymouth State is competing in the postseason for the first time since making four straight postseason appearances from 2003-06. |
