Ryan Kelley earns a pair of All-New England honors

PROVIDENCE, R.I.—Rhode Island College
sophomore midfielder Ryan Kelley (Hope, R.I.) was
named Second Team All-New England by D3Kicks.com for his
performance this past season.
Kelley, who was also named Second Team All-New England by the
NSCAA, First Team All-Little East Conference and was the
team’s MVP, played in 19 games, starting 18 of them. He led
the team with seven goals and 15 points to go along with one
assist. Kelley registered two game-winning goals on the season. He
was named the Little East Conference Offensive Player of the Week
once, selected to D3Kicks.com’s Div. III Team of the Week and
was a member of the Turfer Classic’s All-Tournament Team.
He is a physical education major and a 2005 graduate of La Salle
Academy.
Head Coach John Mello’s team finished the
regular season with an 8-9-2 overall record and a 4-2-1 (fourth
place) record in the Little East Conference.
