Greg Ford Signs With Nashua Pride

NASHUA, N.H. -  Nashua Pride officials have announced the signing of former Owl right handed pitcher and outfielder Greg Ford.

Ford, a Nashua native, joins the Pride after completing his senior year at Keene State College where he was named an honorable mention All-American by D3Baseball.com. Ford batted .333 with 13 home runs and a school record 58 RBIs.  He completed his career as Keene State's all-time leader in home runs (27) and RBIs (149).

The 6-foot 1-inch, 205-pound, All-New England selection will also see time within the Pride pitching staff. Ford, one of the dominate closers in the Little East, came out of the Owls bullpen to post a 1-1 record with six saves and a 3.18 ERA in 2008. He also holds the KSC career save record with 26.

The Nashua Pride Professional Baseball Club, in its 11th season, provides a fun, affordable, community-based and fan-friendly source of sports entertainment. The 2007 Can-Am League Champions are participating in its third year of play in the Canadian-American Association of Professional Baseball.
