Kevin Levandowski and Matt Fontaine earn ECAC weekly praise

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass.- For the first time on the campaign, two student-athletes from the Little East Conference were selected to the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) New England Division III weekly awards program. Plymouth State junior Kevin Levandowski (Derry, N.H.) and Eastern Connecticut State University sophomore Matt Fontaine (Cranston, R.I.) were named Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively.

Kevin Levandowski - Plymouth State University
Junior, Shortstop, Derry, N.H.

Levandowski batted .643 (9-of-14) over three games last week, as the Panthers finished with a 2-1 record. The junior accounted for one triple, three home runs, three RBI, 12 runs scored, and three stolen bases.

Co-Pitchers of the Week

Tyler Connolly - Endicott College

Sophomore, Pitcher, Grafton, Mass.

Connolly recorded a no hitter for the Gulls, as he controlled the Eastern Nazarene lineup. The sophomore struck out six in the

shutout for his first win of the season.

Matt Fontaine - Eastern Connecticut State University
Sophomore, Pitcher, Cranston, R.I.

Fontaine was dominant in his complete game shutout victory over conference foe Western Connecticut. The sophomore fanned 17 batters, while only facing four batters above the minimum.
