BOSTON Senior middle hitter Eliza Badeau (Foster, R.I.) smashed a match-high 18 kills on a scorching .680 hitting percentage to lead the second-seeded Plymouth State University womens volleyball team over third-seeded Western Connecticut State University, 25-22, 25-20, 27-25, in the Little East Conference Championship semifinal round tonight at the Clark Athletic Center on the campus of tournament host University of Massachusetts Boston.

KEENE, N.H. - Behind Carly Benning's (Brewster, Mass.) 26th goal of the season in the first half, and Jacki Benson's (Hampstead, N.H.) two second-half goals, the Keene State College field hockey team battered the Framingham State College Rams 3-0 on Thursday night at Owl Athletic Complex. The win propels the Owls to 18-4 on the year as they advance to the Little East Conference tournament finals on Saturday. With the shutout victory over the Rams, the Owls broke the school record for shutouts in a season with 12.

KEENE, N.H.Senior Tyler Jasud (Rumford, Maine) became just the third runner in the 13-year history of the New England Alliance mens cross country championship to repeat as the individual champion, covering the 8-kilometer course at the Owl Athletic Complex in a time of 26 minutes, two seconds this afternoon to lead the University of Southern Maine to the team championship. The Huskies placed five runners in the top-10 of the individual standings to earn the programs second title in the past three years.
